Outer Island Excursions offers an extensive range of private charter options tailored to accommodate groups of various sizes, from individual travelers to over 200 people. Their diverse and sizable fleet ensures they can venture into even the most secluded corners of the San Juan Islands and deep into Canadian waters. With direct service to the Rosario Marina, the archipelago's serenity awaits!

PRIVATE FISHING CHARTERS

Rosario Resort partners with experienced guides to offer family-friendly bottom fishing trips in the San Juan Islands. These trips cater to fishermen of all skill levels, welcoming first-time anglers as young as 4 or 5 years old alongside seasoned veterans. Bottom fishing is highly recommended for groups looking to experience their first fishing adventure in the San Juans, where everyone is likely to catch fish and the techniques are easy to learn.

Each fishing charter is customized for private groups and includes a knowledgeable captain, all necessary gear, and bait. In addition to bottom fishing, guests have the option to drop pots to catch crabs or prawns for an added maritime experience.

The Salish Sea provides diverse options for fishing suitable for all ages, abilities, and budgets. Our partners adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring a responsible and enjoyable fishing experience. Fishing licenses are provided onboard for anglers aged 14 and up.

KAYAK TOURS

Outer Island Excursions offers daily sea kayak tours from the Rosario Marina during summer. Whether you're a first-time paddler or looking to hone your kayaking skills, there's a tour for you. Choose from four kayak tours guided by experienced naturalists designed to suit all skill levels and interests.

Experience the beauty of the sea and learn about the local marine environment. Explore tide pools and look for otters, minks, seals, porpoises, sea birds, eagles, and even the occasional orca!

For those who prefer to explore independently, you can also rent our equipment, which includes PFDs, paddles, and bilge pumps.
